Must visit places in Singapore

The Singapore Flyer

The Singapore Flyer can be reached by taking an aerial tram from Marina Bay Sands and Gardens by the Bay, or by walking up from the Central Business District (CBD). There are also two entrances for those who want to climb all the way up to its top.

The Singapore Flyer was built in 1988 as part of a joint venture between Singapore and Malaysia, who share ownership of the tower. The Ferris wheel was designed by French architect Jacques Herzog and his firm Herzog & de Meuron. It opened to the public on 21 June 1989.

The Gardens By The Bay

The Singapore Flyer is a must ride for anyone's trip to Singapore. The Space Glass is even more thrilling if you're afraid of heights, and although the treehouse is not nearly so terrifying, it makes an impressive photo and provides a fun vantage point for all of the other attractions at these gardens.

The Gardens by the Bay will be an architectural wonder and a must-see attraction for visitors and locals alike. There really is no better way to describe this space than as a garden of superlatives!

Merlion Park

The Merlion Park is probably one of the most recognizable attractions in Singapore. It is probably where most tourists go first to take photos of themselves with the Merlion, before they start exploring this small but very diverse city. Merlion Park is also a great place to visit at night because it is beautifully lit up, and you can get some fantastic shots with the Merlion Park as your background.

If you're looking for a fun way to spend a half-day or full day in Singapore, perhaps while waiting for a flight or just to get away from the city, head to Sentosa Island. You can find plenty of places to eat, buy souvenirs and clothing, play lots of games and have fun at Universal Studios Singapore – but no matter what you do, you should definitely make your way over to the Merlion Park. It's a great place for kids, adults and anyone that is visiting Singapore for the first time.

Botanic Gardens

In summary, the Botanic Gardens are a great place to visit if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and immerse yourself in nature. It's not just a beautiful area of greenery, it is also an area filled with history and culture. If you plan on visiting this location, one thing to keep in mind is that entrance is free but you will have to pay for parking at one of the several car parks located within the gardens.
The garden's extensive collection of plants makes it a favorite destination for families, students and other visitors. With the wide range of people it attracts, it might not come as a surprise that a variety of events are held in the garden to cater to the different interests of its visitors. Everyday is a holiday at the Garden, but on special days such as National Day or Chinese New Year, the National Orchid Garden is transformed into an exciting venue for concerts and dances.

Jurong Bird Park
If you are coming to Singapore with your family and friends, you should visit the Jurong Bird Park. It is located in western side of Singapore. The park consists of different species of birds and provides a truly entertaining experience to visitors. Birds are kept in their natural habitat wherein visitors can have a close encounter with them.

Jurong Bird Park is a top tourist attraction in Singapore for good reason. This park is home to some of the most exotic creatures on the planet. Visitors can delight in naturalistic habitats featuring free-range birds such as snow cock pheasants, hooded cranes and more. The park's aviary trails are designed after habitats found in South East Asia and Australia.

Must See Attractions In Singapore – Sentosa Island

Sentosa has it all! Food, shopping, beaches and of course – Universal Studios! Some people get a little confused when they first arrive in Sentosa and try to get to Universal Studios before being greeted by the vast shopping mall. Just make sure you take the cable car over then you'll be right in the heart of this tourist destination. It would be a shame to leave Singapore without having gone to Universal Studios so don't miss out on the action at this top tourist spot.

This is a pretty nice list of attractions for people visiting for the first time. We've been to most of them and would recommend the cable car ride, Sentosa beach and the Merlion. The other places seem nice too but we can't really give our opinion on those.
